The authors are members of the Seattle 7 Writers, an organization that works to present outstanding Seattle literature to the community while raising money for a local, reading-related cause. A percentage of book sales from this event will benefit Seattle Teens in Public Service (TIPS) — a not-for-profit dedicated to raising social awareness in teen leaders through valuable summer internships. TIPS interns tutor and mentor at risk children as well as provide cultural enrichment and educational opportunities to the Greater Seattle community.
